$250 Donation Support

A $250 donation funds a participant’s non-refundable deposit, securing their spot in a life-changing retreat. Your contribution helps us confirm attendance and allows us to plan activities and accommodations with confidence, ensuring a smooth experience for all involved.

By sponsoring a deposit, you’re providing a service member or veteran with the opportunity to commit to an experience of connection and personal growth, setting them on a path toward rediscovering themselves beyond their military service.

$500 Donation Support

A $500 donation covers the cost of special activities or workshops for multiple participants during a retreat. This level of support ensures that our troops and veterans can engage in meaningful experiences, from outdoor adventures to culturally enriching engagements.

Your generous contribution directly enhances the quality and diversity of our retreat programs, providing unique opportunities that help veterans connect, unwind, and rediscover their passions beyond military life.

$1000 Donation Support

A $1000 donation covers the cost of all meals or 1 significant activities for an entire group during a retreat. This generous support ensures that participants can fully immerse themselves in the retreat experience, enjoying nourishing meals and transformative activities without any financial concerns.

The founder

Hi, my name is Jess and I am the founder of LiboRisk.

Inspired by my grandmother’s adventures, I embarked on my first solo-backpacking trip to Thailand in 2016 and have been traveling ever since.

I served 8 years as a an active duty photojournalist and marketing director in the Marine Corps.

Traveling as a troop is not easy and we have to endure many restraints and prerequisites in order to travel. I wanted to ease that process by fostering a community that educates and inspires members to see every corner of the world.

I built a school bus into a tiny home so I could live as frugally and nomadically as possible. I embody a life of freedom, curiosity and risk, so I can ultimately empower other veterans to take charge of their life and experience life beyond the military.

My time, focus and money is is on LiboRisk. This is my life’s testimony – to help others tap into the unknown, grow as individuals and leave a better footprint.
