Reining Liberty Ranch offers community based programs that serve Veterans, their families, and other disabled/at-risk individuals within the Grand Traverse Community. The ranch programs focus on the horse-human relationship and include Relational Horsemanship, Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, Equine Facilitated Learning and agricultural activities.

About Reining Liberty Ranch

Reining Liberty Ranch – (Michigan) Offers equestrian training for participants come into the Reining Liberty Ranch program through the Grand Traverse Horses 4 Heroes Program. Veterans start in “Phase 1” and learn the Basics of Safety & Equine Communication. This gives the Veterans the opportunity to learn about the ranch, meet and be mentored by other Veterans who have already come through our programs, and plug into ranch activities in a small class setting.

Reining Liberty Ranch promotes the physical, relational and emotional health of Veterans and their families, and disabled/at-risk individuals through equine, agricultural, educational services and community outreach.

Reining Liberty Ranch offers community based programs that serve Veterans, their families, and other disabled/at-risk individuals within the Grand Traverse Community. Through these programs and activities, participants have the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges. The Ranch is the catalyst for healing through building relationships, mentorship opportunities, interaction and reintegration within our community.

TC Horses 4 Heroes– Offered Free of Charge to area Veterans
Classes run for 8 week sessions and are offered multiple times a year.
