About Eagle Rock Camp

Eagle Rock Camp – (North Carolina) Eagle Rock Camp, through faith in action, brings military families together to heal and reconnect through retreats and specific programs that include activities such as archery, fishing, hiking, kayaking, dancing, journaling, art and alternative therapies.

Adult Program
The combination of interactive workshops and therapeutic recreation, creates an environment that builds trust, takes down barriers and starts the healing process. Families participate in interactive workshops, therapeutic recreation and activities that will benefit and build the family team. Their workshops focus on Building Family Resiliency (relationship building, communication, conflict resolution), Financial Literacy, and Primary Self-Care. You will experience a week of exciting activities, with something new to explore every day.

Youth Program
While the parents are in workshops, the children are with trained counselors and instructors, doing their own workshops in age and skill appropriate activities which may be indoors or outdoors. They strive to keep the family together as much as possible so we encourage interaction, communication and family fun. If an activity requires child care for the “little ones”, they provide special crafts and kid-friendly activities supervised by qualified individuals.

Family Quiet Time
The days at Camp are full days of activities. Knowing that families need “quiet time”, they have planned two during the day. This time may be used to nap, take walks, personal meetings with counselors / trainers, reading, or personal “down time”. It’s your time – you choose.
