Canyon Heroes – (Arizona) Serves veterans by providing hiking and rafting opportunities in the Colorado River to help heal the psychological wounds of war. Trip participants are supported on their journeys by professional counselors with experience with the military community.
Canyon Heroes is open to veterans from all states in the US. Professional clinical therapists select and accompany participants providing a therapeutic setting to assist those impaired by emotional wounds such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
