Sail Ahead – (New York, Washington) Uses sailing and the ocean as a therapeutic platform to foster healing in the military community. They partner with local Yacht Clubs and sailing organizations to take military veterans, active duty, and family members sailing. Sail Ahead teaches veterans how to sail, provides therapy on the water, and offers racing opportunities around the Long Island Sound, N.Y. and Puget Sound, W.A.
