About VETOGA

VETOGA – (California) Provides yoga, meditation, and healing arts to military, veterans, their families, and communities. VETOGA accomplishs this by holding free monthly yoga classes, events and veteran specific 200-Hour Teacher Trainings throughout the year.

VETOGA offers various training opportunities for veterans interested in learning more about yoga and even teaching.

15- Hour & 100-Hour Post Traumatic Growth (PTG) training – Program is organized in 10 modules with a combination of written and video material, that will help you will gain a deep understanding of why yoga is a scientifically proven powerful tool to increase resilience and foster Post Traumatic Growth and you will acquire the skills necessary to utilize yoga in working with trauma survivors and special populations.

15 -Hour Adaptive Yoga training – Makes yoga more accessible to everybody, regardless of their level of ability/disability, including amputees, those living with paralysis, neurological conditions, spine issues, MS, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, confined to a wheelchair or not. Through this training you will learn the tools and skills to help any-Body fully utilize the healing benefits of yoga.
15 – Hour & 100-Hour Nidra Yoga – A system of progressive relaxation designed to relieve the stress of modern life. It brings a sense of profound relaxation to men and women recovering from PTSD, and other nervous system disorders, and eases tensions held in mind, body and spirit.
200 – Hour VETOGA Training – This teacher training will equip veterans with the holistic tools and teachings to pass on the healing benefits of yoga to their veteran communities. Through this work we enable and encourage veterans to create harmony peace for themselves as well as others, allowing them to continue their service in a more peaceful way.
300- Hour Advanced Ayurvedic & Post Traumatic Growth Training – This VETOGA program has a curriculum and intensive schedule that is physically, mentally, and emotionally rigorous. Successful completion of this program requires a good deal of study and commitment in the science and art of Ayurvedic practice.
1000 VETOGA Yoga Therapy Program – This training will be the culmination of the VETOGA Instructors learning journey in order to best equip veterans with the holistic tools and teachings to pass on the healing benefits of yoga to their veteran communities. This program will launch in Spring 2023.
